Contemporary Design
The project involved thoughtful selection of Interior architectural finishes and the detailing of various internal design elements. The timber cladded fireplace ties back to the contemporary staircase and wooden, finned balustrade. The use of raw red brick juxtaposed against ‘Niemans’ glossy, charcoal kitchen cupboards creates drama and contrast. White faux marble bathrooms tiled to the ceiling, give a sense of generous space and polished sophistication, despite the challenging loft roof spaces. In summary a contemporary, minimalist home, yet welcoming through the use of natural timbers and the earthy selection of various materials.
